Newcomb's Model.
Communicator (A) ---> Receiver (B) { Social Environment X}
-> ABX system of communication which means that their internal relation are inter-dependant.
-> The significance of the model is that it tries to explain the role of communication in society.
-> This model assumes significance in the light of people's increasing need for information.
-> in a democracy, people need adequate information about their social environment so that they can identify their problems and share with their peer group.
Shanon and Weaver's Model of Communication.
A mathematical theory of communications in 1948 which later came to know as 'Shanon -Weaver' model of communication.
Sender --> Encoder --> Channel --> Decoder --> Receiver
Information Transmitter Reception Destination
